Each perk slot has 5 perks to choose from, the first perk slot has:
- Marathon
- Slight of Hand
- Scavanger
- Bling
- One man army

All perks can help the player in a certain way. I love the new perks in modern warfare 2. Firstly marathon which replaced extreme conditioning from Call of duty 4. This perk has been used extensively by many players and it most common with aggressive classes as it helps you get where you want to go faster than any other player. Also the tactical knife class normally has this perk used on it at all times. The pro ability of marathon enables users to get over obstacles alot faster, you can definatly notice the time difference and it is almost super human. Slight of hand could also be used on maps where you will always be in the fight such as a free for all because when you are getting bombarded with lead you want to be able to reload and shoot back as fast as possible. But this perk isn't needed as much when using classes that dont encounter as many enemies at such a constant rate. But the pro ability for this perk is extremely useful. Faster ADS, this makes a world of difference to your guns as the faster you can aim the faster you can shoot and kill the enemy. This perk is a must for quick scopers because without it lifting the scope to your eye is simply too slow. One of my personal favorite perks is scavenger this perk is particularly useful for guns which start of with little ammo such as the SCAR-H also this perk allows 2 claymores to be planed at the same time.

Whenever the claymore blows up you can collect the scavenger pack from the dead body and set up another one. If you try to set up three the first one you planted blows up (this is the same for C4's). Bling is also a widely used perk in MW2 as many people requested it when modern warfare 2 was still in making. Using this perk allows for greater customization of the gun and can be used to create a deadly setup for your class. Try out what you think will work and if it doesn't, switch until it does. One man pro, I find that for me this is the worst perk out of the blue perks as I would much rather have a secondary weapon. But still, there are some situations in which this perk fits perfectly. Such as a sniper needing more ammo could just switch to the same class to replenish all the ammo. Some people say that one man army makes scavenger obsolete, what do you think?
