Modern Warfare 2 - Tips Tricks and Tactics

The Mini Uzi is a very small SMG with a high rate of fire and medium damage this gun sounds pretty adverage. But the Mini-Uzi seems to be very steady and have little recoil making it a perfect all round SMG. The mobility is full as it is a very small gun. The Uzi can be used with many different attachments such as the red dot or holographic. I like the Uzi with rapid fire as the enemies will die alot faster and it hardly affects recoil. Akimbo Uzi's work very well as the high rate of fire makes spraying very easy. The Uzi is very good for defending points in close quarters situations because of the high rate of fire. Remember to use steady aim with this though to make it alot more accurate. I wouldn't use the Uzi on big maps as the range is not so good and it will be hard to get those pesky snipers. So altogether its a good SMG with a high rate of fire and good accuracy.

The P90 Was first in call of duty 4, in fact this was one of my favorite guns. The P90 has a very high fire rate and also good accuracy from a close range, once you try for some longshots it can seem to wave abit. When I first unlocked the P90 at level 24 I used this with akimbo when I unlocked it and loved it. I used akimbo P90's until I prestiged. You should give this a go and tell me how you like it.This gun can go well with a range of attachments like holographic and red dot sight and I even sometimes use extended mags in intense battles. I do not like the iron sights of the P90 as it seems to be too small and thus cut some of your view of the enemy you are aiming at. I would recommend this to any player wanting a fast firing highly mobile gun.

The vector is a fully automatic high fire rate sub machine gun. This gun has a very very high rate of fire so the bullets will be gone in no time. I would recommend using the vector with scavenger because you only start with 60 rounds meaning you will possibly get 4 or maybe 5 kills and you will be on your last mag. Also I like the vector with red dot sight. This gun is very precise as a close range but when you try for a long shot the gun can seem to wave from left to right a little. The vector can also work very well with lightweight and marathon. The iron sights on the vector are very easy to use. I find this gun useful for defending points as the fast mobility makes switching positions easy and the high fire rate is good for spraying and praying when there are alot of enemies around. I like this gun but I also think there are other guns that preform better like the UMP and MP5K.

The UMP sub machine gun was introduced to us when modern warfare 2 came out. This gun resembles the MP5 from Cod4 as it carries the same looks and also the same sound. I think this could possibly be the best SMG and I have seen many players using it. The high damage and medium rate of fire makes this a perfect gun for many situations. Whether this be running and gunning or defending a flag this gun can do all of this. There are many attachments to be used with this gun like red dot sight or rapid fire mags even silencer is used very well. I would recommend trying akimbo if you haven't already as this can be very good for running and gunning as you never need to aim down sights. If you do try akimbo I would use steady aim, this makes it alot more accurate. Also the UMP has full mobility so you run alot faster than if you had a assualt rifle or LMG. This is an all round great gun that can be used in many situations and I would tell everyone to try it.

The Fully automatic MP5K was first featured in Cod4. This gun was a huge success and many people used it. But now in modern warfare 2 it seems to have lost its mojo. This guns main competitor is the UMP From past experience I would say that the UMP is better as its damage is higher and it is more accurate. But saying this I think the MP5K is a great gun for running and gunning as the spray on this is very concentrated therefore killing enemies faster. Using this is marathon and running around could be a very good. The MP5K doesn't have much recoil making it easier to hit. In conclusion I think the MP5K is a very good gun for close combat maps such as rust. Also on maps with alot of corner as I think the MP5K would have the most advantage here.
