Modern Warfare 2 - Tips Tricks and Tactics

The WA2000 Single fire semi automatic sniper rifle was a new sniper featured in modern warfare 2 it is unlocked at level 36. I have not seen many people use the WA2000. In my opinion this is not the best sniper on the game by far. Before when I have used this I found it best to use it with the ACOG sight as then it reminded me of the M14 from Cod4. You can also then use the gun more aggressive and engage the enemies more. This is only my opinion though and may not be good for you, try it! The only time that I think this gun can out preform the Intervention or the 50 Cal is in hardcore mode as the very high rate of fire and very low recoil make this gun very deadly. I will therefore give the gun two ratings one for hardcore and one for normal mode.

The intervention is possibly the most used sniper in modern warfare 2. It has a very high damage and the highest accuracy gun in the game. Most people will argue that this is better than the Barrett 50 cal because the Barrett has a much higher fire rate. This is true but the interventions accuracy means you will hit alot more. Many people will use the intervention to no-scope and quick scope,  this can be a good idea but this takes time to learn. As for attachments I would defiantly think about using the thermal sight, as I always say anything that makes people easier to kill you should use it. The thermal makes the enemies glow a bright white light so there just lit up targets for you to kill. Also the FMJ attachment could be used, but many people get confused by this because they do not know that it does not increase the damage of the gun it only adds more bullet penetration to the bullet. When you are using this gun always remember to switch up positions as the people you kill will come after you and if your just sitting there they will kill you. You may be able to stop them a couple of times but eventually you will die. So just switch up where you are so they cant find you. Doing this will get your killstreak up and keep you alive longer. Altogether I would say that this could defiantly be the most popular sniper on the game and maybe even the best?

The M21-EBR is the last sniper you unlock. I find that this is a very accurate sniper and doesn't have much recoil at all. But this means that the damage isn't that high. So it is harder to kill somebody in one bullet. This is why for this gun I would defiantly use this in hardcore mode. As for attachment, in normal mode I would use FMJ to help shoot enemies though walls. But for hardcore mode the silencer is a must for me as it still kills in one. This gun would be very good for a more attacking game as it doesn't have much recoil so killing multiple enemies is more possible when close up.In my opinion this gun is only good used in hardcore modes as I find the Barrett 50 Cal or the Intervention to be alot more powerful and preform altogether better in normal modes.
