Modern Warfare 2 - Tips Tricks and Tactics

The throwing knife is a knife that can be thrown at an enemy player, It deals 135 damage to the opponent just like the melee knife meaning that it is a one hit kill anywhere on the body. It can ricochet of certain walls and floors if it hits them at the right angle and it will still be as deadly. People who use this find it very hard as it doesn't throw straight and takes alot of practice to get it right. The arc that it follows is the same as the grenade. I find that getting alot of kills in a match with this is hard. Some people can use this as deadly as any other equipment as they have practiced alot. I would suggest using this with a silent class as it is very hard to notice a throwing knife pass you unless you hear it or see it whiz past your screen. Many people use this as a novelty item to use in private matches to do "throwing knife only". The only way I use the throwing knife is when im using a riot shield because people come towards you and it only takes a second to throw it then you're covered again. If you use scavenger the bag will replenish your throwing knife. In conclusion I would only use this equipment in private matches and while using a riot shield.
