Modern Warfare 2 - Tips Tricks and Tactics

So all the five new maps are out and these maps all seem very fresh with some great ideas. The first thing that I notice is that all the maps are set in a bright time of day with clear weather, I love this as it makes everything so much better looking and also easier to see the enemies. On my youtube channel I have done reviews of each map as I played them for the first time.

Fuel
This is the biggest map in the pack and also maybe the biggest in the game it features two main factories and many side buildings to be explored it is set in the desert and is supposed to be a oiling company, there is also a huge rocky part to this desert that your can go in that is welcoming to snipers as high rocks can be used as perches for campers to just wait for the nest kill. In all a brilliant map that is capable of some diverse gameplay.

Carnival
Carnival was the map that I was looking forward to the most as it looked very new and something that will bring the game back to life. This is very true as it incorporates different sections of an amusement park with many hiding places. There are four main places in the map the fun house, space area, roller-coaster area and then there is the castle area. All these are joined together by a main road that runs down the center. You can venture into the top of a rocket or even visit a fortune teller machine that you can destroy, be-careful though as if you stand too close it will blow you up. This is defiantly a map with character.

Trailer Park
This is a medium sized map that is about the same size as scrapyard. But unlike scrapyard this is much more enclosed with allyways allover the map to get around. this is my least favorite out of all the new maps but I haven't played on it that much. It has mainly outdoor fighting places with many trailers that you can go inside. the fighting is focused around the pool area from what i have see and I think this will become a run and gun favorite, or maybe shotguns!

Strike and Vacant
These two maps where originally from cod 4 and not much has changed on them, one thing that has though is strikes paint job. It looks alot better and each building looks neater and more colorful. Vacant seems to be grassier and alot more sunnier. Strike has undergone a slight change as a doorway has been added into one of the back buildings. This was to make the gameplay more balanced and less unfair. Also the C flag on domination has been moved slightly so it canned be captured inside the building anymore. All of these changed makes the maps better and a nice breath of fresh air.

In all this is a map pack that I would say is well worth it and adds many more hours of gameplay to this already brilliant game!
